My kindergarten through 5th students are hard working kids who come from hard working families. Most of the families I teach come from a home of 2 working parents, some with 2 jobs for one parent. They respond so well to music as an outlet to express themselves creatively. The school they attend tries very hard to give them a safe haven where they can flourish and grow and the arts is a special place for them to do this.
