I have a wonderful bunch of students, many of whom I taught last year. I am very lucky to know them all so well. They have a wide range of interests and abilities so I really hope to make use of the library when we do one on one and small group reading/writing instruction. Our school is made up of mostly lower income families and our department has very little money to give to its teachers. In the special education department all department money is spent on furniture and extra items for MDS or life skills classrooms. I really want to reach out to my students with high interest reading material instead of "luck of the draw" material that I can find at a used book store or similar sources. I really appreciate your support!!
