Music can relate to most any subject matter in one way, shape, or form, and my mission is to teach students how it can be used to learn, remember, cope, and express various aspects of life. I teach my curriculum, but I don't stop there. One day we will be working on music, and the next, on how to add by creating rhythmic patterns. How to read by singing simple songs and learning vocabulary. Learning about science and history through the eyes of music. I believe that as a music teacher, I can help establish connections between most subject matters and help students strive harder to reach their potential.
