My students are a sharp and talented band. They are effervescent. They are musically and technically superior. That is not only because they set high expectations for themselves as musicians, but also because our school provides a rigorous academic experience. Our school is the math and science magnet school in our county. In fact, it was the first middle school magnet program in our county. We strive to set the standards, which is why we receive superior ratings at our performance evaluations. We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our program, but that starts with functioning supplies.
