These Chromebooks are used every day by my students. They use them to access a ton of educational materials in Math, Reading, and Science on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the school budget was tapped in buying the cart last year for the fourth grade class. One of my Chromebooks broke, and the family cannot afford to replace it. I would never want to put that burden on her already burdened family. There is no money in our stretched tight, Title1 budget to fix it either. The burden will be placed on me if this project doesn't get funded. As a teacher, my paychecks are small enough, and although I'd do anything for these kids, I cannot afford to get a new laptop.
