Many of my students have only recently come to the United States and are busily learning the English language on top of all the other subjects. They are so inquisitive! They ask hundreds of questions, and although I try, I can't always answer every one. My students need to learn that very important skill of knowing where to look for information. Of course, we have the world at our fingertips with the Internet, but that is not always the safest or most convenient way for them to learn. With a brand new, updated encyclopedia set my students could learn to conduct research on topics of interest without risk or being overwhelmed by too much cyber-info. With the additional support from the English dictionaries, they could publish their findings and experience that feeling of accomplishment when their project is complete.
