So many of my students do not own a single book. This is heartbreaking. They have never known the joy of sitting on mom or grandma's lap, turning the pages of a colorful book, or being read a night time story. While I cannot change the past, I can make their present more beautiful by sharing books from our classroom library, so that they can read at home and feel the incredible excitement, joy, sadness, humor, adventure, and sense of wonder that books have to offer. Childrens' imaginations are absolutely limitless!

About my class
