In 8th grade, students focus on matter and energy. In an effort to understand how energy flows through living systems, students will dissect owl pellets. They will be on the hunt to determine what owls eat and where their energy came from. As they recreate the food webs from these pellets, students will understand the connectivity of living systems. We are finally able to do hands-on projects at school and my students are sooooo.. excited! Help them love their time in the science classroom by making these resources available. Let's get our students back on track with real science at their fingertips.
