Using technology daily in the classroom is a way that students can learn by being captivated in the curriculum. We all know that children today spend much of their time using technology outside the classroom. This would provide them with an opportunity to enhance their learning. The 5th graders in the state of Mississippi are required to take state assessments in ELA, Math, and Science. Since there are three tested subjects, this fundraiser would help them be more prepared for their state assessments. Not only would the students be more prepared, it is a fun way for them to use programs that will take them above and beyond in their learning! A classroom set of Chromebooks will aide in taking our students a step ahead. Not only will this help our students, but it would help us as teachers to process data, progress monitor more frequently, and provide different instructional strategies for differentiation that will enhance student growth! We know that the total seems like a lot, but any donation will get us a step toward providing this opportunity to our current and future students!
