While sitting in a high school calculus class, every student thinks, "When am I going to use this?" The skills I teach my sweet students are used on a daily basis for the rest of their lives. In my classroom, students are taught essential knowledge that will be used in and out of the classroom. My students are all extremely unique. They challenge me every day to become a better teacher by thinking in a creative manner. My students are brilliant! Although they are young, they constantly amaze me with their eagerness to learn new information and excitement towards challenging learning. Their eyes light up every time they learn something new. The bright personalities and ever growing minds that surround me make me feel extremely lucky. I am so excited to see how my students will change the world.
