I have a homeroom class of 25 excited second grade students! These strong readers enjoy integrating Social Studies and Science into our reading and writing activities on a daily basis. These students come in and work hard to reach their goals, while trying to have a little fun and stay positive as well! This group of second graders is truly special in the way they interact with one another and are able to show they truly care about what is best, not only for themselves, but for their peers as well. It makes me very proud when I see my students helping one another through problems without being prompted to do so. Second graders are being challenged on higher level skills now and my class is truly rising to the occasion!

About my class
