With a new year starting I want to make sure that I am able to keep my students engaged and excited, and new materials will help! I plan on using this carpet to help my students be more focused by having a specific position to sit. Each year I try to provide new and exciting materials for my students and this rug will help! I think with having many different ability levels, in one classroom it will be very important to have easily distinguishable areas for differentiated learning. A new rug will help students know where to sit and allow for me to have multiple areas for gathering places and for group time.
