I teach in a school where all of my students come from homes where there is more than than one language spoken in their home. My students are all EL learners and come to school with many other struggles and challenges. They come from a variety of countries around the world, some have only been in the Unites States just a short time. They are learning two languages, and they need all the extra help they can get. Having many different resources to help them achieve that is the best way to go. I pull groups of students from Kindergarten through 5th grade and work with them on developing their English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
