My students are inner city kids. They come from very underprivileged backgrounds with very little support from family and community. This effects my students daily interaction with peers, adults and their outlook on school. School is a home away from home for many of my students, a place where they can come and be taken care of for the day. My students enjoy coming to school and learning because there are great teachers at our school that they know care about them.

About my class
