As funding for High School robotics is becoming increasingly hard to find and to keep past contributors due to budget cuts. This aluminum extrusion will ensure that our team will have building materials for at least two more seasons of robots. One of our goals in the coming year is to add aluminum welding to our robotics curriculum. Grainger is a go to source for our team as their Lanham MD store is close to the school and an approved vendor for our school district. They are a cost effective resource the only wish I had for them is either later evening hours or Saturday hours to accommodate last minute needs for the team.
