Our Orchestra is currently using instruments borrowed from a local organization. Many of them are in rough condition and becoming increasingly difficult to play and maintain. I have seen first-hand how participating in an ensemble such as orchestra is making a difference in students' lives. All students can really benefit from the opportunity to participate in this ensemble. Many of them have bad home lives and they consider our class as a "family" that they have within the school. We are slowly but surely building our instrument inventory. The gift of a viola could help up to three students in three different classes, as well as numerous other students for years to come.

About my class
