My classroom kitchens currently have three very old refrigerators that are falling apart. The inside of the current fridges are cracked, stained, and not in proper working order. It would be a huge addition to our FACS department to have working refrigerators. It is important for students to learn proper food safety using working refrigerators. Food must be kept at proper temperatures in clean environments. Students must practice cleaning the refrigerators on a regular basis to show proper food safety. This new fridge will give us more room to store the food as well as a cleaner environment with working parts.
