I teach in an inner-city school in Southern Connecticut. We are Title 1 school, and 100% of our student body receives free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch. This year, our arts supportive principal introduced a dance class into the student's curriculum. Our school culture is very involved in the arts, and families were thrilled that their children were going to start taking dance classes! We have started a dance team too, and we are debuting our routine in an upcoming parade!
