I teach third grade in a very rural area of a high-need community. Our students come from all kinds of families in all kinds of situations - but they face daily obstacles with grace and strength. Many of them do not have the tools they need at home to help them learn best, so it is imperative that we have the appropriate tools at school. However, in these times, funding is being slashed every day.
