My students are from a high-risk, low-income area. They come in with a lot of deficits, but I believe that they all can learn a great deal in the nine months I have them. Our school tries to promote success in all students. I always have a large amount of highly active students who do not like to sit for very long and their attention spans are very short. I want to try a new way to boost their achievement and their fitness at the same time by using exercise balls in place of classroom chairs. There is great research in support of this and I am always willing to try something new and positive!
