I am a second grade teacher. Many of my students are English Language Learners as well as have a variety of Special Education Needs. Our school environment is a safe and happy place where we feel comfortable to learn without any obstacles getting in our way. Our classroom community is a group of motivated, excited and curious young learners. We begin each day by talking about being a leader. Our school and classroom focus on being leaders within our school as well as our community. Our favorite statement is never quit and always try your best. This statement helps our children face the many obstacles they encounter in their challenging lives.
