We use technology in our classroom every day and if we had 3 more Chromebooks, more students would be able to benefit from being able to complete assignments and projects in Google Slides, ThingLink, iReady, and many other websites that are used throughout the day in our classroom. Each student has a Google account and have access to the many advantages of using "My Drive." Our students are trained to use Google Docs, Sheets, Drawing, Slides, and choose to complete many tasks using these. The importance of preparing students for an ever-changing world requires the daily use of technology. Students are continually using different avenues of Google Tools in order to publish projects and to engage them in learning. Students work on Extended Reading Projects three times a year and these Chromebooks will enable easier access for students to take ownership of their learning.
