My students are city kids. The majority of them live within walking distance of our urban school. They come from a neighborhood where everyone knows everyone, and often multiple generations of families have been taught here. Because I teach multiple grade levels, many of my students are siblings. Due to each student's unique needs, I am constantly looking for new ways to stimulate, engage, and activate learning.
