I teach fifth-grade science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). My school is a blend of ethnicity and social class. My four science and STEM classes include over one hundred students of varying abilities and background knowledge. There are English Language Learners, students with disabilities as well as gifted students who all learn and experience science in different ways. My goal is to reach every student on their level. I want to help them develop into great collaborators, critical thinkers, and problem solvers.
