My students will be motivated to play and communicate with these new materials. Communicating for specific toys or parts of toys as well as communicating for an action to be done on these new toys will be the main lessons. The toys and manipulatives were chosen specifically to promote play and to motivate the students to want to communicate about the toys and play actions. Student will learn to communicate with each other as well as the teachers. Social play is also learned through play and students will learn to share, take turns, and play alongside their classmates on the same set of materials. Lots of fun will he had by all and lots of learning too!
