Student reading abilities are two or more grades below grade level proficiency; I work hard to teach the skills they need to improve and become more proficient and confident readers. I help students become good readers by making connections, inferences, and predictions to text. We work on building fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, spelling skills and phonological awareness.
