Dear Family & Friends, As a community outreach component to my school, I tutor students in the evening at a local shelter. Numerous children from our student body reside at the shelter with their families. At a very young age students balance academic, as well as social/emotional challenges. Despite my students situation, they are very strong willed, resilient individuals. The tutoring program was designed to create a safety net so students would not fall behind in their studies.
