Imagine trying to make it through your day in wet and dirty clothing. Do you think you'd be successful? When accidents happen at school –whether it be spilled milk or accidentally missing the restroom – students and teachers within my building look to me to provide clean and dry clothing. No child should have to sit in wet clothing throughout the day. Doing so could cause distractions or embarrassment in the learning environment, prohibiting student success. I am the only person in my building that provides necessities such as new underwear, clean pants, and clean shirts for our population of over 450 students. My current stock (as you can see in the photo of the small blue tubs underneath the cot bed) is down to almost nothing. Your donations will go directly towards new underwear for both boys and girls, and unisex sweatpants in all sizes. When a student comes to me with wet clothing, your donations towards my project will directly impact students by allowing me to provide students with clean and dry clothing. Please consider helping my students reach their highest potential without having to worry about clothing necessities. Your kindness is so appreciated!
