To increase successful learning, my students need interactive, real life experiences. We use interactive lessons and technology whenever we can in order to increase their knowledge and basic skills. Through the use of Fitbits, we will create an interactive learning activity. We will track our daily steps and use the data to create charts, compare numbers and work on our addition and subtraction. We will keep journals to discuss the data for each day which will increase basic writing skills. Another aspect that my students benefit from is physical activity and physical therapy. These Fitbits will motivate my students to get out and walk and meet their physical therapy goals.
