My students are an amazing group of young individuals from a Title I school in Staten Island. Any adult that comes into contact with my class knows how special they are. I have 33 students in my class, 10 of them are Students with Disabilities and 12 of them are Multi-Language Learners. My students come from households that are mostly low income and many of them have difficulties at home due to other circumstances. Many students think of our school as their second home where they are able to come for consistency and stability. They are the founding class of our school and the entire staff is so incredibly proud of their accomplishments from Kindergarten to now 4th grade. I have taught the majority of these students in 2nd grade, 3rd grade and now again in 4th grade. I have been lucky enough to watch their learning blossom.
