Access to technology in the 21st century is essential for educational success. In my classroom, we have three hardly working computers for students to use while other schools in the district have laptops for each student in every classroom. We are required to have our students complete reading and math programs that can only be done using the internet. With these new Chromebooks, my students will finally be able to utilize those programs in the way they were intended. Not only will they be able to reach the district requirements, but they will also be able to use other online programs that will help improve their math and language skills even more! My students long for the chance to be challenged and with these Chromebooks they can finally be given that chance.
