I will be using Flocabulary several times per week to supplement my student's understanding of concepts across the curriculum. This digital resource is outstanding! Flocabulary takes content that can be abstract and potentially boring, and formats it into engaging raps and songs that are catchy and increase comprehension. For example, when studying the elements of a story, this group of talented curriculum writers came up with the following rap. "Plot, Character, Conflict, Theme, Setting Yes, these are the five things that you're gonna be needing when you're reading or writing a short story that's mad exciting!" Kids relate to the use of rhythm and rhyme, plus they love the beats! This resource spans across all content areas, making it a teacher's best friend in terms of student buy-in.
