Ozobot are great to use to introduce both introductory and advanced computer coding concepts. My youngest students in 1st grade will have fun telling the Ozobot "what to do" (aka drawing color coded lines for them to follow) Middle grades can code Ozobot to follow a defined path with twists, turns and nitro boosts. Middle school students can link the Ozobots to their Mac computers to give block based coding directions to the bot- this will make their coding come to life in real time! Each student I teach in the Computer lab will have access to these devices. With the varied levels of courses I teach, they will have the opportunity to build on the knowledge and experience they gain in their younger years as they progress to more advanced levels of computer class.
