Most children love to read, but some do not grasp the much needed skill of comprehension. Each child learns in their own unique ways, which is why books on CD are crucial to their learning advancement. My students will be able to embrace a book and listen to a story enabling them to read and comprehend at their pace. Then they will write and/or draw about a specific topic pertaining to the book. This will give them a sense of confidence and accountability for those students that aren’t yet confident answering questions in a whole group setting. Reading is achieving.

About my class
