Our school strives to provide the best learning environment for our students who otherwise might not get it. We place high value on integrating the arts into the classroom without losing the importance of STEM studies. Because of this approach, our students continue to receive a well-rounded education before entering the community. Students deserve equal access to basic school supplies, like calculators, binders, and rulers. We will use these resources to help better understand the scientific process. Our TI 30XS muli-tview scientific calculators will be used for doing scientific calculations like multiplying and dividing numbers in scientific notation, and the rulers will help us practice using measurements within science. The binders requested will help students organize their work so that they can use it to succeed both now and in the future. In order to expose students to STEM concepts, my students should not have to worry about being able to buy a calculator, binder, or ruler. Science is all around us. In a world that has new discoveries and advancements every day, I am here to prepare my students for analytical thinking and problem solving.
