My classroom is the first classroom experience my students have had. Being a Pre-K teacher is the most rewarding job, but it is very hard to do my best for my sweet students without proper materials. We are in dire need of age-appropriate books for my students. This project is for a variety of books to expose these students to which will help spark their love of reading at a very young age. If this project is fully funded I will make the resources I receive available to all my children which will allow them to learn to love reading! I plan to set up a larger library in my classroom for the students to explore! I want to use these books to also help create engaging lesson plans for my kids to learn from each day. I will be able to give them many new learning experiences while also making learning fun for them, which is such a necessity considering their age when they enter and exit Pre-K. Preschool children need the opportunity to have hands on materials. If my project is funded my kids will have many hands on materials right at their fingertips! Most of my students don't have access to books at home so I want to use some of these books to send home with my students to give them the chance to read with their parents outside of school. Giving my students this opportunity would mean the world to them and will have an enormous impact on their education.
