My students are 4th graders who are learning to write compositions and essays. They are an energetic bunch, but they love my class! They are discovering that they have the potential to be great. Because that's what I expect. My school is in the middle of Dallas, TX. in an urban neighborhood. This is my 3rd year teaching elementary, so we are working on building our libraries up in our classroom. I have taught for 18 years with 15 in middle school. This is so refreshing...I LOVE MY BABIES!
