In our school, our schedule includes STEM with a focus in Math. I want to be able to to provide my students the opportunity to explore the Science and Engineering aspect of STEM. My students have taken Legos, unifix cubes and other tools to build the most creative things. I would love to see what they could build with the tools we've requested! My classroom is full of excited, curious and inventive first graders. These desired STEM items will not only benefit my students this year, but for many years to come. With these materials, students will be exposed to careers in STEM such as architects, designers, engineers and so many more! Students will assemble vehicles, houses, bridges and windmills while using a hands-on learning and collaborative approach.
