These materials allow me to involve my students with more frequent hands-on activities during the introduction and review of various reading and math skills. Hands-on activities are important in the classroom because they allow students to engage in kinesthetic learning. I strongly believe in the quote by Benjamin Franklin, Tell Me and I Forget; Teach Me and I May Remember; Involve Me and I Learn. The Calendar Math Activity Program, Giant Number Sense Stamp Set, and the Number Line Math Activity Chart covers multiple math standards and builds a strong number sense for my students. The Word Building Magnetic Letters, Single Line Write Wipe Board Set, and the Touch Read CVC Words Match are additional tools to help my students practice foundational and enrichment reading and writing skills. These resources are appealing and will motivate students to learn.
