Our Scholars will read more in a calm/relaxed open environment. Often times, our scholars are not afforded a comfortable spacious reading space like those in other school districts. This space will spark excitement and inspire scholars to want to visit the media center more frequently. This project will create a great atmosphere conducive to independent reading and read-aloud​ with soft lightning and additional alternate seating. This atmosphere will allow students to choose a space to help individualize their learning and increase their reading stamina, vocabulary and help them grow leaps and bounds. Also, establishing a love for reading that will last a lifetime.
