I work at a school located in the countryside, where the majority of students do not have reliable access to the Internet at home. That means we have to make the most of our time together in the classroom! My number one goal is to make history matter to my students. Whether it means relating their lives to those in the past, looking to the past in order to explain the state of our current world, bringing more of the technology they love into the classroom, even working towards a classroom pet - I am excited to help them in their academic success and prepare them for playing an active role in shaping our world. With my projects here on Donor's Choose, I am asking for help providing my students all of the tools they need to continue learning no matter their location or circumstance.
