I teach kindergartners at culturally diverse public school in Central Florida. Our school is working proudly toward becoming a STEAM magnet school for the community. We have strong parent involvement and motivated students who delight in exploring ideas and themes across the curriculum. My kinders hail from backgrounds that traverse the globe with languages that include English, Hindi, Hebrew, Spanish and Arabic. My students amaze me every day with their willingness to try new things, to persevere through tough tasks and to always be ready with a happy smile to encourage each other, comfort one another, and demonstrate what it means to be a member of a school family.
