Our lives' experiences inform the decisions we make, the places we go, along with the careers we choose. While our students are stuck at home in a pandemic, it is still vital to ensure they have equitable access to resources they can learn from in relation to college and careers. Each month, our school has virtual black and brown professionals (e.g., engineers, lawyers, DJs, scientists, etc.) from various fields come to speak to our students. These books specifically will allow students to explore said careers before meeting the professionals and allows them to brainstorm which questions they hope to ask.
