Our students attend a large, public high school with an extremely diverse multi-cultural mixture of students from many different socio-economic backgrounds. The students are involved in many extra-curricular sports, clubs and programs provided by the school, which is dedicated to providing the necessary supports to make post-secondary goals a reality. The school has programs to serve students of different academic goals and aptitudes as well, including a large population of special education students in both inclusion and resource settings. There are also quite a few students who are English language learners, and students from families who have never had a member graduate from college. Our students work very hard, against the many challenges that youth face today, and are eager to learn in the classrooms, showing a special kind of enthusiasm when teachers have the resources and preparation to connect to the technol
