About my class

My students are the first fourth grade class at my school. As an ELA and Social Studies teacher I think it is imperative that I have books that represent their interests and ones that they can relate to. This is my first year of having my own classroom along with it being the first year for fourth grade at our school. Building a strong classroom library as well as having supplies to help me meet my students needs is essential for a strong entrance into the new year. My scholars have an incredibme amount of creativity. We have artists, musicians, athelets and so much more that make up our class. Everyday these srudents bring joy and positive energy to our classroom and school. We have built a very tight classroom community that is foinded on love and literacy. No matter the hardships these students face at home or at school, they always come with a smile. Please help us continue to grow our classroom.
