My students enjoy working with technology in the classroom. They thrive when they are able to pair their strong foundation of technology competencies with new knowledge. They have access to iPads and wired keyboards thanks to the Deer Creek Schools Foundation, but they need a class set of headphones to begin stretching their use of these tools even further. Effective technology integration can reach students of all learning types. My students have responded positively to watching Screencasts of the Google Slides that I prepare for them to introduce new concepts. They love that they can pause the video if they need to write something down or rewind if they missed information. Headphones would better allow my students to work at their own pace. They would be able to slow down and speed up as needed for their abilities. This would be truly transformational for my classroom. Your help is greatly appreciated!
