I teach English/Language Arts to 6th grade students at Luiseno School. Creating a classroom that meets 21st century student needs is challenging. Students need a positive learning environment that is welcoming, active, supports collaboration. An ELA classroom is filled with discussion, writing groups, and drama activities to name just a few. Our new blended curriculum has students learning with paper and pen as well as actively reading, writing, and responding to written work through tablets and cell phones. This is not the traditional classroom environment I nor my students' parents experienced growing up. We truly appreciate your support in making this happen.
