Hello! I will be teaching high school mathematics in an Oklahoma high school which struggles to meet the needs of it students due to 10 years of continuous budget cut from the state. This will be my first year to teach at CHS. I will be teaching AP Calculus and Geometry. Thank you for your support of public education! I strive to motivate my students to do their best! I am constantly seeking activities to ensure that ALL my students will achieve. Having taught in a very large district in Oklahoma, a move to a smaller school has already been eye opening when it come to a lack of funding. The school has calculators which were chosen because of their price instead of the choice being which calculators would be best for the students. My goal is to work to close the educational gap between my school and the larger schools near by by increasing the effectiveness of the use of technology in the classroom.
