Everything in our society is becoming technology driven. My students are fascinated by any and all things technology related! Many of my students do not have technology accessible to them at home. School is the only opportunity they have to gain these types of experiences with technology. With these iPads and Osmos my students will have hands-on, technology based learning each and every day to help drive and challenge them in their reading and math stations. The Word app will allow my students additional practice with phonics and vocabulary. The Numbers app will assist my students in building a strong foundation of number sense. Both of these components will be used each and everyday within my classroom. My students will also be able to use the iPads to complete research-based projects, including a unit on 'Great American Leaders'.
