My students are an energetic group of 11th graders who are on their way to being the first graduating class of AMS IV! These brave souls are taking AP biology which is being offered for the first time in the 2017-18 school year. Since this is the first time this course is being offered...we are in need of many of the lab supplies that are associated with being a biologist. Our students are selected by lottery and I do not get to see the students' academic abilities until they are in the class. I want to make this class as interactive and hands on as possible so that the students truly learn biology and not just memorize a bunch of facts. Please help to ensure that my students of which 86% of them qualify for free/reduced lunch, have the same opportunities as high school students around the country. Help them to score 3's or higher on the AP Biology Exam!
